What Is The Best Covercraft SeatSaver

The main difference between each SeatSaver seat covers is the fabric used. The fit to your vehicle will be the same regardless of the fabric and will include the same features easy/off design, machine washable, and all applicable covers for that row.

Carhartt SeatSavers - Are a fan favorite for those that love the Carhartt brand and lifestyle. Just like the clothing these seat covers provide rugged performance with a highly water-resistant fabric. Available in the classic Carhartt Brown and Carhartt Gravel in the iconic Duck Weave material and also in Carhartt Black in our toughest CORDURA® material. Honestly if you work hard, play hard, and love Carhartt these are the custom seat covers for you.

We do have a new premium Carhartt version also that is foam-backed for comfort and a tighter fit. For the Ultimate PrecisionFit Carhartt Seat Cover - Click Here

Polycotton SeatSavers - Our original SeatSaver is still our tried-and-true favorite for work trucks. The heavy-duty polycotton fabric is specially designed to resist tears, repel most spills, and is breathable which is super important for those that work in the heat.

Why Businesses Love Covercraft SeatSavers

  • Rideshare and taxi vehicles - Uber, Lyft, and Taxi drivers see lots of passengers and need a quick way to keep the ride safe and clean while still being presentable.
  • Restaurant and food delivery services - With the rapid increase of social isolation and hectic lives the food delivery drivers are using personal vehicles to deliver meals, groceries, and supplies that can leak or spill in transit. They need reliable seat covers that can keep the interior seats protected from accidents
  • Medical professionals - Nurses and doctors are around patients all day and have taken extra steps to keep themselves and their loved ones safe at all times. Especially with COVID-19 on the rise medical professionals are regularly washing the seats to reduce the spread.
  • Landscapers, Builders, and Contractors - These are dirty jobs with crews that are rough on seats. SeatSavers are durable enough for the abuse and washable for when the dirt comes inside the vehicle

Covercraft SeatSaver Seat Covers Reviews: What Users Are Saying

Fit and Installation of Covercraft Seat Covers: Mostly positive sentiment.

  • Positive: Many users love the custom fit for trucks and SUVs, with comments like “fits like a glove” (2024 Ford F-150 owner) and “fit very tightly and stay put” (2015 GMC Sierra 1500 owner). Installation is often easy, as a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado owner noted it was “super easy” to set up.
  • Negative: Some faced challenges, with some owners calling seat installation a “chore”. Some owners pointed out the center console cover was missing, as the SeatSaver line does not include consoles for bucket seats, unlike Covercraft’s Marathon or PrecisionFit lines.

Durability and Protection for Rugged Use: Overwhelmingly positive.

  • Positive: Customers praise the durability of car seat covers for heavy-duty use, with a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 owner reporting a set lasted 10 years and a 2015 Ford F-250 user noting 315,000 miles with seats still looking new. They’re ideal for pet owners and workers, as a 2018 Toyota Tundra owner appreciated their suitability for three dogs, saying dog hair doesn’t weave into the fabric. The Carhartt SeatSaver line is often compared to Carhartt jackets for toughness, with a 2016 Chevy Colorado owner reordering after 5 years of rugged use.
  • Negative: Minor hand-made defects include a few reporting a stitch ripping during installation or a some noting a strap breaking while tightening but customer service was quick to address.

Appearance and Quality of Covercraft Covers: Mostly positive with minor reservations.

  • Positive: Many love the rugged style for vehicle interiors, with a 2024 Ford Expedition owner praising the tan color match to their leather interior and a 2022 Ram 1500 owner saying the camo design “looks AMAZING.” A 2024 Chevy Silverado owner noted, “we have received repeated compliments on the look”.
  • Negative: Some were disappointed with the wrinkled look after first installing until the heat warms them out, and some thought while custom were to loose as they are designed with a relaxed custom fit to make washing easy while the PrecisionFit or Marathon seat covers are designed with a tighter fit.

Value and Cost of Covercraft Seat Covers: Mixed sentiment but mostly postive.

  • Positive: Many feel the price is justified for long-lasting seat protection, with a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter owner calling them “worth every penny for their perfect fit”. A 2016 Chevy Colorado owner plans to repurchase despite the cost, citing 5 years of tough use. Non-Carhartt options like polycotton are seen as better value, as a 2021 Ford F-150 owner noted they have the “Carhartt feel without the price.”
  • Negative: Price is a concern for some calling them “rather expensive” and and felt Carhartt SeatSaver covers were “pretty spendy,” though they acknowledged “you get what you pay for” after use.

Customer Service and Brand Trust: Generally positive with some frustrations.

  • Positive: Covercraft’s customer service for seat covers shines, resolving issues like missing parts and assisting with installs as if in the seat next to you. The three-year warranty and North American manufacturing add trust, as many buyers appreciated the “Made in America” quality despite some being made in Mexicali.
  • Negative: While most custom SeatSavers were made and shipped within 7 days some thought the delivery time was longer than quoted as there is transit time still required.

Overall Satisfaction with Covercraft SeatSaver Covers: Leans very positive.

  • Users prioritizing protection for rugged lifestyles (e.g., work, pets, outdoor activities) are generally satisfied, often planning to repurchase for other vehicles or rear seats, as a 2019 Ford F-250 owner vowed to buy for “every single truck” in the future.
  • Those expecting a quick stretch fit easy install may feel let down initially, like a 2025 Toyota Tacoma owner frustrated it took almost 60 minutes for both rows to be instaled, but many grow to appreciate the durability after use.
