Difference
Weather the storm with the Covercraft WeatherShield HP Custom Car Cover, one of our most popular high-performance, all-weather covers designed for superior protection. Engineered for dramatic water dispersion, this cover allows moisture to bead and can easily be shaken off, providing an unmatched dry time compared to other fabrics. Despite its excellent moisture resistance, the fabric remains breathable and incredibly lightweight, ensuring your vehicle stays cool and dry in any weather.
Tailored to fit your vehicle perfectly, the WeatherShield HP Car Cover boasts a sleek, contoured design that highlights the curves of your ride while offering top-tier protection from the elements. Its silky-smooth finish not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of your vehicle, but also prevents scratches and damage to the paint.
Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, the WeatherShield HP provides reliable protection in virtually any climate, whether it’s rain, sun, or snow. With its breathable, moisture-wicking design and superior durability, this cover ensures your vehicle remains in pristine condition. However, for geographies with intense sun, like Southern California or Arizona, we recommend our Sunbrella or WeatherShield HD for superior protection specific to those environments.
The Technology Behind WeatherShield HP
Over 25 years ago, Covercraft partnered with Nextec Applications to develop a groundbreaking material for custom car covers. As a pioneer in performance fabrics, Nextec’s precise polymer placement and unique encapsulation process protect each fiber with special finishes, transforming ordinary fabric into a high-performance material. To date, this technology is backed by over 51 patents worldwide.
In collaboration with Nextec’s R&D team, Covercraft created WeatherShield HP—a fabric that delivers all-weather protection, easy maintenance, and a soft, breathable touch that’s gentle on your vehicle’s paint. While not waterproof, this WeatherShield car cover sheds water, dust, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap, while its breathability allows moisture and heat to escape, keeping your vehicle safe and dry.
