WeatherShield HD Custom Car Cover

The WeatherShield® HD Custom Car Cover from Covercraft is designed for ultimate protection in the harshest outdoor conditions. Built with heavier denier thread, this cover offers superior snow protection and UV opacity, making it ideal for cars kept outdoors in intense environments, like the hot desert, breezy coasts, or snowy mountains.

Approximately 40% heavier than the WeatherShield HP, the 300-denier fiber construction provides nearly double the tear and tensile strength, offering enhanced durability against the elements. Finished with Covercraft’s exclusive EPIC® by Nextec encapsulation process, this outdoor car cover provides maximum protection while remaining breathable to prevent moisture buildup.

Custom-tailored to fit your vehicle’s make and model, the WeatherShield HD car cover includes thoughtful features like soft felt grommets for secure fastening and elastic hems at the front and back of the cover for easy installation. Though the WeatherShield HD is not as smooth or compact as covers like the WeatherShield HP, it excels in extreme climates, providing unmatched defense for long-term storage or daily outdoor protection.

The Technology Behind WeatherShield HD

Covercraft teamed up with Nextec Applications to develop a revolutionary material for custom car covers. As a leader in performance fabrics, Nextec used precise polymer placement and a unique encapsulation process to protect each fiber with specialized finishes, transforming ordinary fabric into a high-performance material.

This groundbreaking technology is protected by more than 51 patents worldwide. Working closely with Nextec’s R&D team, Covercraft created WeatherShield HD—a fabric that provides all-weather protection, easy upkeep, and a breathable material that allows moissture and gases to escape. WeatherShield covers shed water, dust, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap, ensuring your vehicle stays dry and protected.
