RigStrips Magnetic SunStrip

The Magnetic SunStrip™ is designed to make resting and handling outdoor gear easier while protecting your vehicle’s paint. It snaps onto any magnetic surface in seconds, creating a soft, grippy, weatherproof barrier that won’t scratch your car. Built with all-weather magnets, the SunStrip is made for use at the lot, during a hunt, or at the trailhead, without straps or damage.

For fishing, the SunStrip fits all rod sizes and helps prevent broken tips caused by leaning rods against car doors. SunStrip can hold up to seven rods on a single SunStrip. For firearms, it fits barrels up to 12-gauge thickness and provides a stable way to prop shotguns or rifles in the field, though loaded firearms should never be leaned into the SunStrip.

The SunStrip also supports bike handlebars, including flat and drop bars, with a built-in brake slot and stability on slight hills up to approximately five degrees. It’s useful for pumping tires, cleaning chains, or making trailhead adjustments. Beyond bikes and rods, it works well for paddles, hiking poles, tools, and other gear you’d normally lean against your vehicle.

The Magnetic SunStrip™ installs quickly and removes cleanly with a pull, leaving no tools or hassle behind. It is built to stay on full time when not in use in the lot, but should be removed before automatic car washes. For vehicles that aren’t magnetic, a lockable suction cup version is available as an alternative.
